Hello readers! This week, I’m sharing some more Lego and providing a few updates. The fourth and final book in the Highmoor series is still being reviewed, but I expect to be working on it again before the end of the summer. In the meantime, I am returning to the second book in the series, Sylvre, to make an improved second edition, fixing spelling and grammar mistakes and rectifying any miscalculated distances (oops). This edition will be available on my free book weekends, if you want to update your copy – I will send an update as soon as it launches. It will also be published in paperback for the first time! And of course, it is available through Kindle Unlimited.
In the run-up to releasing Sylvre’s second edition and paperback, I will be dropping more concept art and Lego models onto the Highmoor series art page. This week, I’m adding the Maredyg Village, which is a tiny settlement high in the mountains, home to a community of dragon-riders. I had a lot of fun building it, but I used an awful lot of grey…

New ideas are arriving
With the Highmoor series wrapping up, I’m already starting to plan what comes next. Over the last few weeks, I have typed up several pages of ideas, and I’m feeling excited about beginning something new for the first time in several years. I’m returning to science fiction – but for the moment, the most I can tell you is that the story won’t be based on Earth. In fact, I’m trying my best to create a world that is entirely un-Earth-like.
Stay tuned for more updates. For now, happy reading, and have a lovely week!
